Queen’s Hall Arts would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the artists who have generously donated art work to support ART with HEART, and all of our fabulous partners who have helped make the fundraiser possible.
Fentimans beverages are the product of the simple but time consuming art of bringing natural wholesome ingredients to condition through 3 distinct stages including infusion of selected botanicals, slow natural fermentation and skillful blending.
The original recipes of Thomas Fentiman are still followed today, more than 100 years after they were first developed, to produce the finest natural botanical drinks.
“Fentimans started its relationship in Hexham when we moved into premises on the High Street in 2004. We have always contributed to local initiatives illustrating our strong sense of local community spirit. With this in mind, we are delighted to support the Queen’s Hall Arts Centre and sponsor their ART with HEART fundraiser. The aims of the event will make a positive impact on the lives of children going through a difficult period in their lives and we are proud to be a part of it”. DAVID CHARLTON, FENTIMANS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & FINANCE DIRECTOR.

PARTY PARTNER - CANAPES
Queen’s Hall Arts will be using the funds raised through ART with HEART for arts projects to support children who are facing or experiencing bereavement. We will be working with a range of appropriate partners to develop and deliver the projects, including Tynedale Hospice at Home. SHARON WEST, DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Tynedale Hospice at Home provides nursing care, transport and pre and post bereavement support to children, adults and families in the communities of Tynedale, West Northumberland and Ponteland. Unlike many hospices, Tynedale Hospice at Home’s palliative nursing care is provided in the home where the patient and their families can be surrounded by familiar comforts and can be cared for in a place of their choosing.
Adults, children and families who are facing or grieving the death of a loved one can access our family support service which is available to anyone in the community, regardless of whether they have had experience of another of the Hospice services. Our trained team of staff and volunteers provide one to one, group and family support and also work in schools when required.
Arts Council England champions, develops and invests in artistic and cultural experiences that enrich people’s lives. We support a range of activities across the arts, museums and libraries – from theatre to digital art, reading to dance, music to literature, and crafts to collections. Great art and culture inspires us, brings us together and teaches us about ourselves and the world around us. In short, it makes life better.
Between 2015 and 2018, we plan to invest £1.1 billion of public money from government and an estimated £700 million from the National Lottery to help create these experiences for as many people as possible across the country.
